Just grab'em in the...
Tonight was the first night I made homemade biscuits... As a chef, I've never made bread or anything like that, well other than frozen puff pastry. Actually I made bread ONCE and it came out perfect... I called em Cafeteria Rolls, so big and fluffy. Not like the yeast bread you see every where else. Oh and when I was in Home Economics with Vernon, but I had put too much egg wash on it and had a hard crust. er... so I walk into the living room and my mom was there and said "You need to make biscuits." So I got all the ingredients and my mums gave me her recipe that was handed down from her mums. So there I was, mixing and talking with my mums about how she had to wake up every morning to make biscuits for her dad. And said to me "I'm sick of making biscuits." Then said something about that there should be no reason now to make homemade biscuits at home. WELL SAID. So 20 mins later the were ready. They came out hella good. I was pretty proud of myself. I mean, yeah making biscuits is really nothing, but being able to learn this recipe and talk with my mums, made it worth while...

Going into the cave was very moving for me but after saying what i needed to say I felt like a huge weight was lifited off of me and had this feeling that everything will work themselves out. Annoyed...
Ok, so last week I went to the Advocate office for a criminal intake and Behavioral Health for client intake. AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHY, YOU WON'T KNOW WHY... Anywhos, I called Advocates and they told me that the person who handles that information wasn't at work and won't be in for the rest of the day., but I should call back o n Wednesday to find out the status. I call Behavioral Health they let me know that the person I intially was assigned to was on medical leave (my prayers are with you to a speedy recovery Chester) and so i was assigned to another counselor who doesn't seem to care for me very much. Who am I kidding, his name is Louie Lopez. and he is on leave for the rest of the week. UGH... I was really frustrated. But I can't dwell on the little shit. So I need to call advocates on Friday to find out my status and called Behavioral Health like 10 mins ago and talked to Doug. I requested a new counselor and moving on. I know these are services that I don't have to pay for but dayum. It's just annoying...
I am actually feeling good today admist everything that is going on. Life is too short to worry about the bullshit. And also to hear that my Logan is ok. Keep your head up brotha! I'm slowly but surely working on the L word close out so check that out soon!

The intro...
So this experiment came to me about maybe a few weeks ago. While on the social sites, I get hit on by alot of people who I would rather have as friends and not dating material. I'd usually blow them off or ignore friend requests. Just because they weren't my "ideal" person to date. So now I'm doing the reverse and going to give it a try for no later than 4 months. I already have "5" test subjects and so far the results have been... INTERESTING, for a lack of a better term. No names will be mentioned in this experiment but if you are a frequent flyer of the social sites then just reading their descriptions, I'm sure you can figure out who they are. I will be doing TEXT BLOGS on this experiment with some brief descriptions to protect the subjects. At the end of this experiment I will do a video podcast on my results and see where I stand.
NOTE: One of the original names for this experiment was "The Pussy Bump" Experiment but that is not what this experiment is about. It's not about sex, it's about dating someone with similar personalities as myself.

Why isn't Vocational Rehabilitation a big sucess? We have so many disabled O'odham that could benefit from this program. Do the employees go out and publicise the opportunity?
I believe that Vocational Rehabilitation is a successful program and that most of the time it is the consumer who fails the program. They are offered paid training, stipends, job referrals, on-the-job training, a place to live but sometimes the consumers just take advantage of the program. And yes, there is a lot of O’odham that could use this service but you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. For the short time that I was familiar with the program, they were advertisements on the radio and in print. The Nation has so many programs and opportunities out there for our people but our people are the ones that need to take the initiative and seek out these programs. I’m tired of people wanting to be handed every dam thing because they feel it is owed to them. Get up and make something of yourselves. I should know… I’m still here trying to make my mark but I don’t blame anyone else but myself.
Education is a joke, the recreation is a joke, the kids there aren't supervised. No police patrol is done, i've seen 7 yr olds fighting on the playground and no one stopping them. The Nation needs to get a grip on their people, thats where the money needs to go to.
During my time here at Baboquivari High School, I was making decent grades and all however, when I transferred from Baboquivari to Desert View High School, I was at a complete loss. The work was triple hard because we had it easy at Babo. I know for a fact that some teachers were paid for passing grades. One particular teacher just made us work straight from books… Nothing was taught. But I can only speak of when I attended there. When the Recreation program first started, the rules were strictly enforced. There was ZERO tolerance for any violence or gang activity and the youth knew it. I know there have been a lot of changes done within the past couple of years but the Recreation Centers are not BABYSITTERS. I’ve seen parents leave their kids all day long on a Saturday and come back at night to pick em up. Kids fighting on the playground and no one stopping them? Did you bring this to anyone’s attention? Did you make an effort to stop it or was it not your problem? Again, where are the parents? I would never leave off my 7 year old anywhere by themselves? So when something happens to them they are shifting the blame to the Rec. staff. TYPICAL!
So in hindsight, it all comes back to parenting and family skills. Oh wait… there are programs that the Nation offers and guess what? That’s where the monies go from the casino. But will anyone take advantage of em? PBN!

The Haircut
I was looking over my video blogs that I did and all I kept on doing was looking at how bad I needed a haircut... UGH, to the people that know me, I can turn into a real BITCH. Sometimes my friends would ask me, "Dam, let me guess, YOU NEED A HAIRCUT". Honestly, I could be wearing old clothes and be all greasy face but as long as my hair is cut and looks good, thats all that matters. But if it isn't, then I feel the complete opposite. When I was doing my "3", I was actually considering getting my haircut in there. I wasn't exactly expecting those Silverman to pull thru but he did and I guess I owe him that much even tho I was just stabbed, kicked and spat on from him... Wait, weren't we talking about hair? (Here I go again, RIGHT LOGAN?) Anywhos, it's really not that long but for me to style it, takes about an hour. HONESTLY! When I get out of the shower, I put on a beanie to pull down my hair, My hair is soo thick that if I DON'T MY HAIR STICKS STRAIGHT OUT. So after I put a little pomade in for shine then some strong ass gel that looks like rubber cement. and style blowdry to what I want it to look like then hair spray the corners and blow dry and then VIOLA, i'm done. I rather just out on the gel and push up to the faux-mohawk or fauxhawk and be done with it. OMG, I did't realize the time, but if you know me, i'm always fashionably late. #TGFAD.

Whatelse is there really to say? Other then thankful for family and friends who were concerned enough to check up on me and for that I have two words... THANK YOU! Especially my brother Bill and Silverman... Thanks for getting bidnezz done. Also changed my number AGAIN, so i'll be texting that over during the week... Time to end this chapter and start a new... R2M Implementation... WEEK 4
Ok actually it's week 3 but on Monday it will be week 4. When i first started as their temporary Medical Records Clerk (NOT FILE CLERK... and yes i'm talking to you Logan) it was really overwhelming. There was records in boxes in every nook and cranny in my office. Look at the picture to the left... this was the end result of 3 weeks of sorting and cleaning the office... All the papers you see needs to be put into the clients file folders which are all against the wall. ONE SHEET for ONE CLIENT... It takes time to grab a sheet, look for the clients file folder, make sure that the file is in order, attach the record, and put it back into the shelve. Atleast 2 minutes per ONE SHEET of paper... AND DO YOU SEE THOSE STACKS? It's gonna take forever for us to get everything current... Thats not including all the incoming new client, file request. status reports from other agencies, phone calls... you get my point... 
So the division invested into this new records management program called "R2M". So instead of doing the process of putting those sheets of paper into the clients folders, you now scan the sheet, index it and it goes to a virtual client file folder. NO PAPER, NO CLIENT FILE FOLDERS! The scanner that they purchased, which is pictured to the right, is worth more than my repoed Suzuki Reno, actually 2 of em. I think it said that it can handle 800 sheets per minute... WAIT, that can't be right... 13.33 pages a second? Don't quote me... Anyhows, we still haven't been able to start yet and we were suppose to be done within 2 weeks. Not really sure what the hold up is or maybe it was because I was out a few days... IDK but I think we are finally on our way to a paperless record system. In addition to transitioning our files out, we also had to clean everything out of the office. My office desk got stripped down to bare bones... I was told that nothing personal is to be on the desk... WTF... So I took out Logans picture and put in on my desk... Waiting for someone to tell me that I can't have h
is pcture on there. I seriously doubt anyone is going to ask me to take his picture down. As you can see his picture is just to the left of my printer. Just to be an asshole (yes, I called myself that), I'm going to put his picture on top of the scanner next week. This is going to be fun. Well, it looks like i'm going to be putting in alot of comp time this coming week, and heavens knows I need a much as I can get. I got an upcoming performance and I will need those days off. FYI, I am still hurting from that pep flag slip I had the other day... but that's for a different blog... ~FIN~
